Unleash your energy within! Be a part of the EDC Team!
The Reliability Engineer is responsible for the timely and cost-effective execution of plant optimization strategies, simulation modeling, hazard and operability studies, performance testing, and other improvement studies, to ensure optimum and efficient operation of EDC facilities for the construction of geothermal Fluid Collection and Recycling System (FCRS) and Power Plant facilities and other EDC renewable projects, following applicable Engineering Codes and Standards.
Tracks the production losses and high maintenance cost assets, prioritizes to focus efforts on the largest/most critical, develops plans to eliminate or reduce losses through root cause analysis, and ensures implementation.
Ensures the integrity of existing assets, especially the single points of failure, through survey and evaluation of condition, providing programs to mitigate risks, and getting commitment for implementation. Promotes the use of FMEA/ FMECA, RCM, RBI & SIL and other risk-based methodologies.
Reviews specifications of new equipment, repair and modification procedures, inspection criteria and testing protocols and ensures adherence and implementation. Provides specialist advice in the design and installation.
