Adjunct Faculty: Piano Accompanist

Job Description

Kent Place School is seeking a collaborative pianist for choral accompanying throughout the school. Ideal candidates should have experience accompanying school choirs in a broad range of musical styles, working with conductors in a supportive educational environment. This position requires excellent sight-reading skills, flexibility, ability to play and improvise in pop, jazz, and musical theater styles, work from lead sheets and scores, as well as a knowledge of current treble choir repertoire. We have excellent grand pianos and a collaborative and engaging music faculty, and we anticipate the position will grow over the next few years. Requirements: minimum three years of performance experiene; a Bachelor's degree in academic field or in Teaching preferred. Please submit a cover letter and resume to apply.
