What You’ll Do in This Role:

As a Household Homemaker you will be responsible for brightening the lives of older adults by delivering exceptional customer service and creating meaningful connections. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of dining services, including household cooking, kitchen assistance, and related activities, all while fostering a warm, welcoming environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create an enjoyable dining experience, serving residents and their guests

Assists with serving resident meals, snacks, and nourishments.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dining, and service area.

Prepare food for household meals and snacks that are healthy and appetizing.

Plans and facilitates activities for residents involve food preparation or other activities specific to the kitchen.

What You’ll Need:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or server in a restaurant, nursing home, or retirement community serving older adults is preferred.

Certification in Food Handling, preferred.

Experience in commercial food preparation and services, preferred.

Certification in Dining Assistant or CNA, preferred.

Ability to lift 35 pounds.
