Position Overview:Finning Canada is looking for a Parts & Components Specialist join our team in Estevan, SK. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including: inspections, disassembling and reassembling CAT components.

Job Description:

Major Job Functions

Disassembly and assembly of CAT Parts and Components including (but not limited to): drives, brakes, transmissions, pumps and valves

Perform a wide variety of part and component inspections, including working with Caterpillars reusability guidelines

Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily

Complete technical documentation (service reports, inspection add sheets, etc.)

Interact with internal and external customers

Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required

Specific Skills & Experience

HET certification preferred

Ability to manage time and priorities

Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract

Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail

Previous repair and troubleshooting experience with Caterpillar general line products would be considered an asset

Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset

Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset

NOTE:

3rd or 4th Year Apprentices MAY be considered
