Description
We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations in a hybrid role. This position will play a critical part in streamlining our accounting processes using Workamajig, which we rely on to automate workflows and provide the reporting insights our firm needs. You’ll oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including monthly client billing and vendor payments. Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations
Oversee client billing on a monthly cycle and ensure accurate, timely invoicing
Process and track bills from software and service subscriptions
Monitor and manage company credit card transactions
Utilize Workamajig to automate processes, improve reporting, and support overall efficiency
Prepare financial reports for leadership, including monthly and quarterly summaries
Ensure proper internal controls and support compliance requirements
Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting experience; prior experience in a leadership role preferred
Proficiency with Workamajig is a plus
Strong understanding of billing processes and vendor management
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration in a hybrid work environment
