Manager, Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities: Oversee pharmacy operations including dispensing and compounded product preparation.Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.Manage budgets for drugs, services, and personnel.Recruit, hire, and mentor staff; conduct performance evaluations and enforce corrective actions.Schedule pharmacists to ensure full coverage of operational and on-call hours.Drive quality improvement initiatives and support cost-effective drug therapy.Collaborate with clinical leaders to meet program and service goals.Promote staff development, innovation, and progressive learning.Maintain current knowledge in drug therapy and complete pharmacist competencies.Support and conduct research related to pharmacy practice.REQUIRED:B.S.

degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.) from an accredited school of pharmacy required.Three years experience in a broad range of pharmacy operational, clinical, or administrative pharmacy practice OR completion of an HSPAL postgraduate pharmacy residency required.PREFERRED:Master's degree in pharmacy administration or healthcare management (MS, MBA, MHA) preferred.PGY-1 postgraduate pharmacy residency preferred.Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification preferred.Prior inpatient pharmacy leadership experience preferred.
