A WNY law firm with a busy Workers` Comp department seeks an Associate Attorney for their Buffalo office. Responsibilities include:

Representing client interests at hearings and depositions

Conducting settlement negotiations

Counseling clients on emerging issues in litigated matters

Consistently applying firm standards and tactics to achieve client goals

Recent or imminent admittance to the NYS Bar; law clerks with related experience are also strongly encouraged to apply

Litigation/Worker`s Comp experience a plus

Superb legal drafting and writing skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Excellent negotiation skills

Strong organizational skills
