Acxiom Healthcare Data Analyst Intern will assist in analyzing healthcare data, generating insights, and supporting our data driven advertising initiatives. You will work with large datasets, build reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize healthcare marketing strategies. The intern will assist in developing and implementing project plans, meeting preparations, and follow-ups. The intern will also create and maintain data catalogs, taxonomies, and data spreadsheets for processing data throughout Acxiom and external data platforms.
Acxiom is a Conway, Arkansas based database marketing company that collects, analyzes, and sells customer and business data for targeted advertising, offering solutions for customer intelligence and data-driven marketing experiences. Acxiom puts data to work, solving complex challenges for the worlds leading brands and agencies. We help unify, connect and prepare data for AI-driven marketing and decision-making.
Internship details:
The internship will begin January 20th, 2026
The Internship will be in or near Conway, AR or New York City, NY office with expectation to be in the office most days
20-25 hours/week work dedication during the semester and up to 40/week during breaks and summer
Anticipated graduation date between December 2026 - May 2027

What you will do:
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze data to identify trends and patterns for advertising
Data Visualization: Create reports and visualizations using various tools to present insights and findings to stakeholders
Predictive Analytics: Assist in developing models/algorithms to forecast healthcare campaign performance
Compliance & Privacy: Ensure that data handling aligns with HIPAA and healthcare industry standards
Collaboration: Work closely with agency teams, data science, data gurus, and other stakeholders to enhance data-driven advertising strategies
Project Management: Preparation for internal and external meetings, help identify opportunities for improving processes, and prepare documentation
Other: Research projects on relevant industry news, trends, products, services, competitors, and relevant existing and emerging technologies that may impact present and future performance
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field
Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, and SQL
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Understanding of healthcare data, such as claims data, patient journeys, or EMRs (Electronic Medical Records), is a plus
