Position Overview

We are hiring a Special Education Teacher / Intervention Specialist for schools in the Columbus area. You will be responsible for creating engaging, differentiated instruction that supports the academic and social-emotional success of students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

Write, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to individual student goals.

Provide direct instruction in small groups and one-on-one settings.

Collaborate with general education teachers and related staff to ensure inclusion.

Track student progress and communicate results with families.

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.

Establish a classroom environment that promotes safety, respect, and learning.

Qualifications

Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (or eligibility).

Strong instructional skills and ability to differentiate learning.

Knowledge of special education compliance and documentation.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $56,000 $72,000 annually (based on experience & education level)
