Maersk Corporate Real Estate sits with the global responsibility for the categories within Real Estate & Facility Management. As a Data Manager you will have ownership of all data related to these categories and will be tasked with ensuring high data quality and insights.
We are looking for a Data Manager who has experience with data management and is enthusiastic about real estate. By joining the Corporate Real Estate Management team, you will be exposed to real estate portfolio management, strategic real estate and facility management decisions. Our team is part of the Asset Strategy & Strategic Partnerships function, where you will have the chance to gain valuable experience and get a broad network with the entire organization and partake in a team that has top level exposure in the Maersk Organization.
The Role
As the Data Manager you will be part of a global team of eight professionals and will be reporting to the Head of Maersk Corporate Real Estate. Maersk Corporate Real Estate is globally responsible for 400+ commercial office sites and all the related real estate category workstreams.
As the Data Manager for Maersk Corporate Real Estate you will play a central role working across all categories, owning the backbone of what we do and ensuring that we have the right insights for decision-making.
Our data and the realm of the Data Manager has focus on:
Lease contracts
Facility management contracts
Supplier data
Utilization data
ESG data
Other relevant data such as HR data
Maersk Corporate Real Estate is on a data maturing journey, and we need you to take us to the next level. We have a solid foundation but trust that the right candidate can take us even further, can help deliver and maintain a solid data foundation for supplying other Maersk systems, enlighten our stakeholders and support our category managers.
We seek a tech savvy, creative, IT-driven Data Manager that can build on a solid data foundation while at the same time challenge and inspire us with creative solutions and take advantage of new technologies and know-how.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that Maersk Corporate Real Estate can live up to the task of being the One Truth of office data in Maersk
Develop and execute the data policy
Support local stakeholders in understanding their office portfolio and all relevant clauses within
Generate and deliver valuable insights
Help structure and mature how we operate, gather and structure our data, and in that our data policy, database, data processes and systems
Collaborate with a broad community of stakeholders:
Internal (Tech, HR, Finance, Site Managers)
External (Brokers, Suppliers)
Guarantee and maintain high standards of data quality across relevant datasets and systems
Support proactive portfolio management
Own and structure lease data and database and all relevant clauses within
Conduct critical date review of lease contracts
Collect and leverage data to generate insightful analyses that empower colleagues in negotiations with landlords and identify potential areas for opportunities
Besides these major areas, you will daily be required to assist your colleagues across Maersk Corporate Real Estate in strategic drives and ad hoc tasks related to offices.
As a Data Manager, you will also be responsible for exploring innovative methods to enhance the data structure, streamline current processes, and establish an improved foundation for data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications and Competencies
Relevant degree in Mathematics, Economics, Technology, Data Management or equivalent
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience with data management and a strong track record of handling and analyzing data
Blend of IT expertise and business acumen to act as a bridge between these two domains
Experience with the real estate industry is a plus (but not a must)
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
