We’re currently hiring for multiple positions in our Before and After School Programs for the 2025–2026 school year across Dutchess County. Opportunities are available in the following school districts: Wappingers Central, Arlington Central, Hyde Park Central Schools.
JOB STAUTS: Part-time, Non-Exempt
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Substitutes, Assistants, Supervisors, and Directors
HOURS: Before School and/or After School shifts available — apply for one or both
PAY RATE: $15.50 – $17.00 per hour (based on position, qualifications, and experience) plus our new employer paid childcare benefit
The Before and After-School Program team is responsible for:
Leading fun, hands-on activities that align with the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, group games, and homework help.
Creating a safe, healthy, and enjoyable space while acting as a positive role model for children.
Communicating daily with parents and guardians via the Playground App.
Following state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program guidelines, and the host school’s policies.
Depending on the role, additional duties might include managing attendance, handling registration, and supporting staff coordination.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
You are 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
While having one year of experience working with children under 13 is great, it’s not required. We value passion and potential!
You have medical clearance from your doctor—fit to perform job duties and free of communicable illnesses, including TB.
You’re warm, friendly, and upbeat. You excel in connecting with kids, parents, and teammates, and you’re professional, dependable, and punctual.
You’re ready to bend, stretch, lift, and carry (up to 50 lbs.) as needed to keep up with the kids!
