Objective of Job:

As the Head of Controlling, you will provide leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives for MBV, including Wholesale and Production. You will be responsible for the Finance and Controlling areas of MBV Wholesale and MO, ensuring credibility through timely and accurate analysis of budget, financial trends, and forecasts. Collaboration with Sales/Customer Services and CKD Production will be crucial in managing daily operations and steering the business towards target achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

Controlling: Sets strategic pricing, analyzes competitor pricing, supervises discount spending and marketing campaigns, monitors product profitability, ensures KPI transparency, supervises RoS steering and transfer pricing, conducts feasibility studies, reviews stock development, aligns production and sales, and conducts financial evaluations for dealership expansion.

Operative Planning: Leads planning for MBV Wholesale and MO (OP/EA/FTR), coordinates pre-market alignment and operative planning discussions, liaises with relevant departments and HQ for planning/forecast matters, and ensures efficient fulfillment of targets.

Strategic Planning: Analyzes macro-economic situation, identifies changes in fiscal policies, evaluates strategy and derives long-term financial plans, coordinates strategy with stakeholders, communicates strategy across management levels, and monitors strategy implementation.

Budget Controlling: Derives G&A guidelines, approves total annual G&A budget, manages marketing budget controlling, and handles project and investment controlling.

Management Reporting: Manages monthly reporting for MBV, EB, and HUB SEA1, and manages reporting systems and data processes for information needs.

Risk Management: Implements risk management for MBV, evaluates assessment results and defines countermeasures, and consolidates evaluation results for presentation to MBV EB.

Other: Ensures compliance with all DAG and local MBV policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA and/or CPA preferred.

5+ years in financial leadership roles, preferably in the automotive industry.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

High integrity, dependability, financial skills, leadership, business acumen, and results orientation.
