Learning Support Assistant – SEN Focus (Primary)

Location: Lewes & Surrounding Areas

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible supply options

Salary: £13.70 – £14.50 per hour

Supply Desk is actively recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to start immediately across a range of welcoming primary schools in Lewes and nearby areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

Your Role Will Include:

Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN

Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning activities

Helping pupils engage with the curriculum and develop key skills

Creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment

Supporting emotional and social development

Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN

Patience, empathy and a positive attitude

Previous experience in a classroom or SEN setting is desirable

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning
