Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Alma College Department of Business Administration invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning August 2026. The standard teaching load for this position is six units throughout the academic year.

The department is seeking an experienced faculty colleague with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.Teaching experience and/or professional experience in marketing, digital marketing, and business is required. Successful applicants are those who can teach marketing and digital marketing, as well as a business generalist who can teach across multiple business fields, including data analytics and management.

A Ph.D. or Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) or related fields is preferred. An all-but dissertation (ABD) will be considered. Master of Business Administration (MBA) with professional college-level teaching experience will be considered for a non-tenure appointment at the Instructor level. Experience with Canvas or other learning management system and experience working with underrepresented, first-generation, Pell-eligible, and diverse populations is preferred.
