Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Laurel, Montana. This role serves a K-12 caseload in a school setting, working Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week, typically 8 hours each day. Employment is on a contract basis, aligning with the academic year schedule.
Responsibilities include conducting all speech and language evaluations and managing speech-only Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The SLP will also oversee the work of two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), ensuring the delivery of effective therapy services to students.
Qualifications and experience desired:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
Ability to manage evaluations, therapy plans, and IEP processes independently
Prior experience supervising SLPAs or similar support personnel preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills for collaborative work with educators and families
