Position Title: Project Engineer Line Expansion
Reports to: Engineering / Project Manager
Location: Tarlac
Role Overview:
The Project Engineer will lead and deliver major line expansion projects within a beverage manufacturing environment, including installation of new bottling and packaging lines, associated utilities systems, and civil/structural/architectural (CSA) works. This role requires strong end-to-end project leadership experience from design through commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and safely, while meeting quality and operational performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of new line expansion and installation projects in the bottling and packaging operations.
Oversee engineering design, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, quality, EHS) to integrate new lines into existing operations.
Manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and change controls to ensure adherence to project milestones.
Supervise and manage contractors, vendors, and external engineering consultants.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Prepare and present regular project progress reports to senior management.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
710 years experience in project management within bottling, packaging, or beverage manufacturing industries.
Demonstrated experience in line expansion, utilities installation, and CSA works.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (planning, execution, commissioning).
Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) is an advantage.
PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
