About the Role

Aramark is looking for a skilled and motivated Cook to join our catering team at USP Palmers College. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant educational setting, preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals efficiently in line with recipe sheets

Maintain food quality and presentation standards throughout service

Manage food production to minimise waste and ensure consistent availability

Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations

Record food volumes and overproduction accurately

Assist with kitchen setup and closing procedures

Contribute ideas for menu improvements and operational efficiency

Perform both back-of-house and front-of-house duties as required

Undertake relevant training and development

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a catering or cooking role preferred

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs

Enhanced DBS clearance required
