ADP Payroll Administrator Job Scope: The ADP Payroll Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing within a manufacturing environment.
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of payroll administration and time and attendance using the ADP platform, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
The role requires close collaboration with HR, finance, and operations teams to maintain employee records, resolve payroll discrepancies, and support audits.
The successful candidate will contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of payroll operations, directly impacting on employee satisfaction and organizational compliance.
Ultimately, this role ensures that all employees are compensated correctly and on schedule, supporting the overall financial health of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll using the ADP system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay or benefits.
Reconcile payroll data with timekeeping and attendance records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
Perform bi-weekly payroll audits.
Monitor leave and paid time off First point of contact for any payroll and time and attendance inquiries Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide clear, professional support.
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to support audits and payroll-related projects.
Continuously review and improve payroll processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Performs all other duties assigned.
Minimum Education and experience: Associate’s or bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience processing payroll in a manufacturing environment, preferably using ADP payroll systems.
Desired Skills: Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Extensive knowledge of HRIS systems and integration with payroll software.
Experience with benefits administration and timekeeping systems.
