The Senior Application Analyst-Epic Ambulatory/Healthy Planet is responsible for enhancing, supporting, and managing applications within Temple Health. Responsibilities include leading application projects from start to finish and meeting project deadlines and goals. Additionally, the role is responsible for coordinating the development of new features, testing, and implementing regular vendor releases and system upgrades, and resolving system issues. As the expert and escalation point for other IT team members, the Senior Application Analyst will provide technical and functional application analysis, define system requirements, and develop logical data models using best practices. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams and TUHS stakeholders to provide training on system functionality and configure new features and functionality to increase user productivity within the application.
This position requires three days per week on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at Temple Health's Women's and Families Hospital.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field Preferred
Experience
5 years experience in related role with proficient ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve complex problems involving multiple integrated applications Required
General Experience and knowledge managing and completing IT related projects Required
General Experience and knowledge of basic hardware configurations, database management tools, and query language Required
General Experience and knowledge with analyzing, diagnosing, suggesting, and implementing process improvements Required
General Experience and knowledge with a strong understanding of data security and privacy standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent Required
General Experience in Healthcare IT Preferred
Licenses
Epic Certification (Ambulatory or Healthy Planet) Highly Preferred
