Experienced Project Manager - Public Sector Division

Job Description

Hudson Meridian Construction Group is actively seeking an experienced construction Project Manager with Public Sector experience to join our growing team!

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Support the Public Sector Division Project Executive and Senior Managers with day to day project management oversight

Support/respond to tasks/duties in the office and in the field (staff augmentation for Client)

Technical assistance to Client (Guiding Client staff with selected processes as assigned)

Project Management Functions:

Preconstruction Phase Services

Construction Phase Services

Post-Construction Phase Services

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Develop, implement, and oversee reports for Public Sector projects

Update and maintain records for Public Sector projects

Respond to public sector clients requests in a timely fashion

Qualifications of the ideal candidate:

Must Have/be:

Knowledgeable in the areas of:

Scheduling

Risk Management

Estimating/Design review

Change Management

Construction management

Project Management

10-15 years of Construction Project Management Experience (Public Sector ideally)

Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, or relevant industry or Construction Certification (e.g., CCM, PMP)

Business Development Skills – ability to connect with individuals with intelligence and empathy

MS Office Fluent (Specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Literate – technically and linguistically.

Able to construct proposals with minimum supervision

Self-starter who is disciplined and able to work with minimum of supervision

Valid Driver’s license

Organization skills

Conscientious and disciplined attitude
