What does the position entail?
-Above all, help provide amazing care to our patients. This involves:
-Knowing EVERY patient’s name. We know names because we care.
-Greet each person by name with a smile.
-Assist in resourcing our patients with their health needs and informing them of upcoming events.
-Managing & coordinating the schedule.
-Answering phones & responding to emails.
-Keeping desk orderly.
-Collect payments, posting transactions, addressing declined payments.
-Working closely and supporting our doctors to ensure each patient is empowered and equipped.
-Data entry.
-Social media
-The possibility of learning new things and taking on new responsibility
-This position is 35-40 hours a week (some weeks with workshops and events will potentially be 40+, some weeks less).
-Weekend travel for training seminars and personal growth & development (potentially 1-3 times a year and they’re pretty awesome).
-Must be available to work evenings 2 nights/week (Monday and Wednesday)
-Must be available to work weekends - Saturday mornings for adjusting hours and when community events are scheduled, you will know in advance to plan
Working Hours:
The days we see patients are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
An example working schedule would look like this:
Monday 8a-1p and 2p-7 or 8p
Wednesday 7:30a-1:30p and 2:30p-7 or 8p
Friday 7:30a-3:30 or 4:30p
Saturday 7:30a-10a
Tuesday and/or Thursday 4-6 hours administrative work in office
**Hours vary week to week slightly depending on events and work load, averaging 35-40 hours/week
