Salary – From £27,996 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our 44 St Swithin nursery.

Are you ready to inspire young minds and be part of a nurturing, child-led learning environment? Bright Horizons 44 St Swithin Street nursery is seeking passionate Early Years Practitioners to join our dedicated team in the heart of Aberdeen’s West End.

Our nursery caters to children aged 3 months to 5 years and features age-specific rooms, a sensory space, and a spacious garden with a mud kitchen. We embrace outdoor learning with weekly adventures like “Muddy Mondays” and “Forest Fridays,” helping children connect with nature and explore the world around them.

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification

Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments

Strong understanding of the Scottish Curriculum frameworks

Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
