Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist with both family and cosmetic procedures, including prepping treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, and more.
Deliver excellent patient care by greeting, reassuring, and educating patients about oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Maintain clinical records accurately and assist with charting and documentation.
Support practice operations by helping with inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring treatment rooms are clean and well-stocked.
Work collaboratively with all team members to ensure patient comfort and efficient flow of the day.
Opportunity to advance into a Clinical Manager role that includes coaching, training, schedule coordination, and supervising staff.
Qualifications:
Valid Dental Assisting Certification required.
EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) credentials highly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dental assisting role.
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset.
Ability to adapt to different doctor preferences and workflows.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time position: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (includes a 1.5 hour lunch)
Wednesdays and Weekends off
Compensation depends on experience: $15 to $25 per hour
