HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Salary: £46,800 – £52,000

Contract: Permanent

Shifts: Monday to Friday day shift (with some Saturday mornings)

Opportunity to obtain a Tacho licence if you don’t already have one

HGV Technician Responsibilities:

Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs to VOSA standards to trucks, trailers and lcvs

Diagnose faults and complete effective rectifications

Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections

Perform tachograph calibrations (approx. 50% of the role)

Maintain workshop standards, equipment, and records

What we’re looking for in an HGV Technician:

Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Fitter

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent qualification) preferred

Strong knowledge of diagnostics and repair methods for HGVs

Commitment to safe, high-quality work
