CAD Technician

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established infrastructure business in their search for a CAD Technician to work in Penrhyndeudraeth

Job Details:

Pay: £38,000 per annum (Accommodation allowance also available dependent on location)

Hours of Work: Days based role (45 hours a week) - hours will vary dependent on site requirements

Duration: Permanent

Benefits: Accommodation allowance, Standard pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Role: The CAD Technician will be responsible for producing and amending 2D drawings and models aligned with project and client standards. The role includes managing drawing documentation, design cloud services, and ensuring full model coordination. Supporting BIM execution, spatial planning, and quality assurance, the CAD Technician plays a key part in delivering accurate, safety-conscious, and sustainable design outputs.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

Knowledge of construction activities and infrastructure projects

Applied knowledge of BS/PAS/ISO standards and processes

Understanding of infrastructure design processes

Ability to apply and interpret CAD/BIM standards

Proficient in AutoCAD and knowledgeable in Bentley systems
