Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this position requires an individual capable of providing hands on support in the maintenance and repair of the electronic and electrooptic payloads whilst also providing leadership and management to a team of technicians as directed by the Workshop Manager.
The Supervisor will be expected to complete reports, both excel and word based, liaise with other Section Supervisors and communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager.
Training on the specific systems will be provided.
Requirements
Primarily operate from a multi-purpose, large scale hanger facility.
Lead a team of technicians, effectively managing all responsibilities and allocating specific tasks to the team
Complete all maintenance and repair activities to standards specified in Company procedures and instructions.
Complete fault diagnosis and analysis for reported failures.
Understand inventory management and conform to local procedures.
Complete vehicle specific training (both On the Job and Formal) (provided by Barzan Maintenances Shield and it’s partners)
Report faults / issues to their responsible manager.
Understand and ensure their team adheres to local policy and procedure including Health and Safety regulations.
Although primarily based from a centralised workshop, be able to work from other locations within the vicinity of Doha (this may require driving to other locations in company vehicles).
Work independently at both main hanger and other locations.
Lead and manage the team of technicians working within the section
Advise supervisory staff of areas of concern regarding defects, safety and procedures.
Perform any other duties as may be requested by the direct supervisor.
Be capable of using Microsoft Office tools.
Complete all required reports (weekly production rates, failure reports, usage reports etc.) a required by their line manager

Bachelor’s Degree
Higher Diploma/Technical-Vocational
Formal qualification (minimum Diploma equivalent) in Vehicle repair.
Vehicle Mechanic systems / Vehicle Electrical systems.
Experience Requirement
Military Electro-Optic repair, diagnostics and inspection.
10 years minimum
Supervisory responsibility for Technicians
05 years minimum
Certification/Knowledge/Competencies
Fluent English speaker
Arabic speaker (desirable)
Computer Literate
Qatar Driving License (or other driving license with ability to gain Qatar driving license)
