Purpose Statement: The Manager - Trade Compliance, Customs & Logistics is accountable for driving International Trade and Logistics solutions for the Site and/or Region, including oversite of Trade compliance and logistics teams and service providers, and alignment on risk and priorities with internal stakeholders. This role will craft long-term scalable & sustainable strategies, implement customer solutions, lead investigations regarding potential compliance violations, and serve as the main interface with governmental agencies on resolution. Support enhancement of Global Trade program at Plexus.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Oversight and strategy of Trade Compliance and Logistics program, including duty and freight expense management, selection and coordination with brokers and carriers), team guidance and development, import/export compliance execution, and regulatory environment changes.
Assess effectiveness of logistics and trade compliance processes, controls and communication; Assume accountability for communication, solutions and closing gaps in partnership with Site/Regional Leadership and Corporate Trade Compliance team.
Responsibility for recognizing and leading process improvements, implementation of trade and logistics automation projects, freight rate and premium service reduction, and other optimization projects to allow Plexus to move products in a more cost effective, efficient and compliant manner, including organizational design to support business requirements and growth.
Coordinate a system of monitoring and measuring trade compliance and logistics performance through the establishment and maintenance of metrics and targets, combined with targeted audits/reviews as appropriate. Monitor, assess and communicate regulatory environment changes appropriately.
Lead and develop Team. In addition, ensure the organizational design supports business requirements and growth.

Education/Experience Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
