Job Description

Packaging Associates are responsible for assisting with processing/packaging of all Crown B Alchemy edible batches from start to finish in preparation for retail sites distribution. This includes affixing approved labeling to bottles, pouches and case packs. As well as hand filling and sealing gummy pouches and counting finished units into case packs. The ability to hold a station position comfortably during bottling sessions. This candidate may also be called on to set up, monitor and/or operate automated packaging machines as products move through the packaging process into finished goods.

Priorities include:

Attention to detail with an emphasis on organization.

Working with industrial packaging machinery and equipment.

Packaging, labeling, stickering, and sorting, by hand, all finished product while following OLCC compliance and workplace safety measures.

Filling an 8-hour workday with packaging and facility maintenance duties.

Starting and finishing all separate packaging jobs in a timely manner while keeping an organized workspace.

This is a hands-on production position where teamwork, organization, and a passion for finished product quality are imperative to your success.

Responsibilities:

Package, and label Crown B Alchemy edibles into finished goods (ready for sale)

Practice batch management; check in with Supervisors often about what needs to be completed on any given day

Monitor and record precise product counts/ total units produced across multiple batches

Keeping your workspace clean by sweeping and mopping regularly while keeping all trash and recycling at a reasonable level.

Learn, interact with, and troubleshoot various industrial machinery and equipment that assists in the bottling process. Be able to learn all stations while bottling and stand in where needed.

Thoroughly clean machinery, hand tools, containers, production workspaces, and production equipment in accordance with state regulations.

Maintain and improve upon Quality Assurance of all packaged products in accordance with local and state regulations.

Be able to partner with other departments to maintain efficiency and productivity throughout the production cycle.

Assist in other duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company maintain success.

Requirements:

21+ and currently residing in the Portland, OR METRO area

Must be mobile and able to stand for long periods if needed

Must be able to lift 50lbs on any occasion

Must have High School Diploma or GED

Mechanical/Production Experience, 2+ years (preferred)

OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit (obtained upon hire)

Nice-to-haves:

Any sort of production background including: machine operator, packager, assembly line operator, equipment maintenance technician.

Prior food service background including: line cooks, servers, pizza chefs.

Any connections to other businesses in the Oregon Cannabis Industry
