HOURLY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL - SUFCO

Wolverine Fuels is looking for Full-Time Underground Hourly Maintenance Personnel to join our team at SUFCO Mine, located 30 miles east of Salina, Utah. Interested candidates should have prior mining or industrial and heavy equipment operating and maintenance experience. Applicants must be capable of routinely lifting greater than 50 pounds, be willing to work rotating shifts and weekends as assigned. This onsite position offers competitive pay ranging from $28 to $40 per hour.

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE: Safely and efficiently perform all underground and surface maintenance activities as directed

What would you do as UNDERGROUND MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL

As a new Underground Maintenance Personnel at Wolverine Fuels, you can expect hands-on training and support as you learn the ins and outs of our operations. Your day-to-day will involve conducting equipment inspections, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and assisting with repairs. Day, swing, graveyard and weekend shifts are all currently available ranging from 10-13 hour shifts. Your dedication to safety and attention to detail will be crucial as you contribute to the overall efficiency of our underground mine operations.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

To excel as an Underground Maintenance Personnel at Wolverine Fuels, you'll need strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in using various hand and power tools is essential for conducting inspections and repairs. Familiarity with maintenance software and diagnostic tools will aid in identifying and addressing equipment issues efficiently. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues is crucial for ensuring smooth operations in the underground mine.

Attention to detail, a commitment to safety protocols, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies are key attributes that will help you succeed in this role.
