Why Manitoba?
Manitoba is a compelling target market for the Make a Book project due to its strong cultural identity, educational infrastructure, and community-driven values. The province has a rich heritage shaped by Indigenous peoples, Francophone communities, and diverse immigrant populations, creating a unique demand for platforms that preserve and share personal and collective stories. Manitoba’s schools and universities provide a natural entry point, as educators are increasingly seeking tools that encourage literacy, creativity, and digital skills. In addition, Winnipeg’s role as a cultural hub, with its thriving arts scene and festivals, aligns closely with the project’s mission to empower individuals and organisations to tell their stories. The province’s emphasis on community, culture, and education positions Manitoba as a fertile ground for both adoption and long-term impact of the Make a Book project.
