The Role
Our top-ranked construction and dispute resolution team are seeking a qualified lawyer to join their busy and growing team. The role will be based in the UAE, but working within a regional team with lawyers across several offices.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on many of the largest and most complex construction arbitrations in the UAE and throughout the GCC region.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a team who continue to advise on some of the largest and most complex disputes and transactions across the UAE and the wider Middle East and remain at the forefront of contentious and non-contentious work in high-profile, nationally significant projects—including major energy, transport infrastructure, utilities, and tourism developments.
Our team are known for providing and communicating a clear strategic direction, for our clear approach to staffing and service provision and our ability to pursue disputes in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Required experience, skills, and attributes
Experience with construction disputes, preferably involving international arbitration.
Ability to analyse complex issues and present clear and accurate findings.
A willingness to shoulder responsibility while working collaboratively to deliver solutions to complex problems.
Able to work under pressure to tight project deadlines and can adapt to differing demands, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise assigned workload to deliver high-quality work on time.
Strong organisational skills, methodical approach to work, and ability to project manage complex matters.
Able to interact positively at all levels within the firm and a good team player.
Willingness to travel within the GCC as required.
