Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant

The Position

An excellent opportunity has come up for an O&G Staff Specialist on a Permanent Full Time basis. You will provide exceptional leadership within a multi-disciplinary team of medical officers and midwives, as well as providing supervision and support to doctors in training.

The Location

While a sophisticated, modern city in its own right, it is also one steeped in history, one that has endured many hardships on its way to establishing itself as the gateway to Asia. It is the home of NT commerce and business and with its world-class natural and cultural attractions it is also a thriving hub of activity in terms of tourism, nightlife and retail.

The Facility

This is a Tertiary level 3 Teaching Hospital with just under 400 beds and around 1,700 staff. The hospital services a population of 200,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals and remote Aboriginal communities. The hospital is affiliated with Flinders University with an onsite Medical School and is ACEM accredited as a major referral centre for two years of advanced emergency training.

The Requirements

One or more of the following:

Hold or eligible for registration with AHPRA

Possess at least 12 months recent experience as an O&G Consultant in either Australia, The UK, Ireland, Canada, NZ or South Africa.

Eligible for or hold the FRANZCOG

On RANZCOG training program

IMG's with RANZCOG interview date
