**Job Title: Journeyman Parts Technician**

Job Description

Join a dynamic team of four in a manufacturing facility where you will control the flow of inventory. As a Journeyman Parts Technician, you will be responsible for managing the inbound materials, adhering to shipping and receiving protocols, ordering parts, maintaining records, performing cycle counts, conducting quality checks, and ensuring general warehouse organization. You will utilize SAP software to document activities and maintain accurate inventory records. Additional tasks may be assigned to support operations.

Responsibilities

+ Manage inbound materials and adhere to shipping and receiving protocols.

+ Order parts and maintain accurate records of inventory.

+ Perform cycle counts and conduct quality checks to ensure inventory accuracy.

+ Organize the warehouse and ensure efficient flow of materials.

+ Utilize SAP software to document activities and keep inventory numbers aligned.

+ Operate and manage sit-down forklifts for material handling.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in warehouse management.

+ Ability to be trained on SAP software.

+ Proficiency in inventory control, shipping, and receiving.

+ Experience in a manufacturing facility warehousing environment.

+ Ability to operate or be quickly trained to operate sit-down forklifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Overhead crane experience.

+ Knowledge of oilfield equipment, primarily rigs.

+ Forklift certification.

+ At least 1 year of experience with SAP.

Work Environment

The facility is located in SE Calgary on Sheppard Road and currently hosts approximately 50 trades workers with plans for significant expansion in 2025. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with overtime available after 8 hours in any given day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, Alberta.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
