Safety Intern

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Intern to join our Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) team. This internship offers hands-on experience in workplace safety, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating safe work environments and eager to learn about safety regulations and best practices in a real-world setting.

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across various departments.

Support the development and implementation of safety programs, policies, and procedures.

Help maintain safety records, incident reports, and training documentation.

Participate in safety meetings and contribute to safety awareness campaigns.

Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Research and stay current on OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety. Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong interest in workplace safety and compliance.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications:

Previous internship or coursework related to safety or HSE.
