Medical Technologist - Lab - Part-Time - Weekend Evenings

PURPOSE OF JOB: To assist in the operation of the Laboratory sections.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 5% 1. Properly accessions and distributes Laboratory specimens.

45% 2. Performs established Laboratory testing procedures.

45% 3. Interprets Laboratory test results to insure quality patient care.

5% 4. Promotes patient safety by compliance with Organization/Department policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: BS MT, ASCP or equivalent preferred (ie HEW)

Experience: Hospital Clinical Experience preferred
