DevSecOps Architect - Leading Financial Services Organization (HK)

We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Architect to design and implement secure, automated, and efficient software delivery pipelines. This role offers a unique opportunity to integrate security into DevOps practices, architect robust systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced financial environment.

Responsibilities:

- Architect and implement secure, scalable DevOps pipelines, integrating security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Design system architectures to meet business requirements, ensuring cost-effectiveness, performance, and security.

- Lead the adoption of CI/CD tools, cloud platforms, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define and enforce security standards and best practices.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement security controls for applications and infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

- Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and resilience through effective disaster recovery plans.

- Provide technical guidance on DevSecOps tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

- Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports for system designs and processes.

- Stay updated on emerging security threats and technologies, recommending improvements to enhance system integrity.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, system architecture, or security engineering, with at least 3 years in a DevSecOps-focused role, preferably in the financial sector.

- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).

- Proficiency in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, vulnerability management, and secure coding practices.

- Experience with security tools (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube, OWASP ZAP) and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2).

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and logging frameworks (e.g., ELK Stack).

- Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Putonghua) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, CISSP) are advantageous.
