Job Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients using both standardized assessments and observational methods.

Create individualized treatment plans tailored to meet both short-term objectives and the long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs of your patients.

Implement speech therapy interventions that enhance communication, language skills, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing mechanisms.

Team up with a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to construct unified care strategies.

Educate patients and their families on tailored exercises to support progress in between therapy sessions.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout each patient's journey.

Keep comprehensive and timely documentation that meets the standards of local, state, and federal regulations.

Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of advancements within the field. Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications

Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

Candidates must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment. Key Skills
