Forklift Operator
This is a contract position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.
Integrity Trade Services is seeking a Forklift Operator to join a leading technology company’s manufacturing team.
Job Title: Forklift operator
Location: Cedar Park, TX 78613
Pay Rate: $18/hr
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for managing sheet metal inventory, coordinating material flow, and supporting acoustic manufacturing operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with purchasing, planning, and production teams to ensure materials are available and accurate for scheduled projects.Job Description:
Review material requirements and generate purchase requisitions to support purchasing activities.
Follow up on active purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Inspect incoming materials for identification, quality, and packaging accuracy.
Pull and distribute materials for punch operators and production teams.
Coordinate with programmers, supervisors, and managers to plan material deliveries for upcoming projects.
Review new item routings to confirm labor inputs and costing accuracy.
Support cycle counting and inventory control activities to maintain accurate records.
Safely operate forklifts and hand tools to move and manage materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
3–5 years of experience in material handling, planning, purchasing, or inventory control within a manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication environment.
Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge.
1–2 years of cycle counting experience.
Ability to perform basic math and convert fractions to decimals.
Forklift experience required.Preferred Attributes:
Experience with manufacturing routing and cost tracking.
Knowledge of warehousing processes and inspection procedures.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles.Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
Indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, and mechanical hazards.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
