Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium-to-large scale IT initiatives from initiation through delivery. This role is responsible for defining project objectives, managing scope, schedule, and budget, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. The Project Manager will partner with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to align deliverables with business goals while proactively addressing risks and issues.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and close projects in alignment with defined timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Develop project plans, track milestones, and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
Define and manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and success criteria.
Oversee vendor and contract performance, ensuring compliance with KPIs and agreements.
Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
Lead, coach, and mentor project team members; encourage accountability and professional growth.
Support process improvements and ensure adherence to PMO standards and best practices.
Conduct retrospectives to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (required).
3+ years of project management experience, including IT system implementations, upgrades, or infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience with project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Jira, or Azure DevOps).
Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification.
Experience in construction or related industries.
Familiarity with PPM tools and cloud-based solutions.
