Corp Project Engineer

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the position is to perform engineering and design work to complete projects within budget, scope, and scheduling constraints. The incumbent will lead key capital projects at all manufacturing locations within AOC North America. The projects will include chemical manufacturing processes, utilities, facility management, and supporting systems.

The incumbent will aid in the development of capital plans and support the capital approval workflow process. Capital requests will be reviewed to determine if alternatives should be considered and if the project has been properly scoped and estimated. The incumbent will also ensure capital request meet all safety and environmental regulations, published codes, standards, internal policies, and recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEP).

The incumbent will act as a technical resource to plant engineers, department leaders, insurance carriers, and customers. They will lead efforts to standardize manufacturing equipment and implement best practices to support maintenance reliability, energy efficiency, mechanical integrity, and project management.
