We are looking for a Senior Process Improvement Specialist to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!

As a Senior Process Improvement Specialist for our Christchurch location, you will lead the identification and successful delivery of projects, utilizing your skills, training and experience in our pursuit of Operational Excellence. You will have a track record of success across a diverse range of projects demonstrating your practical knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles and the use of appropriate tools and techniques. You will join a knowledgeable and motivated team with a strong level of support for Operational Excellence at all levels of the business.

Your Challenge

Identify process improvement opportunities across the business through a combination of data driven analysis, hands-on learning and industry experience

Work closely with cross functional teams to deliver on identified improvements, aligned with the business strategy and objectives

Develop and foster a Continuous Improvement culture across the business

What You Bring

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Process Improvement within a manufacturing environment

Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt

Proficient in data analysis and process mapping tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Minitab, Excel).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Experienced in the use of change management principles and practices, such as Stakeholder Management and RACI

Strong track record in the coaching and mentoring of project teams and other staff

The facility is committed to quality and excellence in manufacturing for our flight recorder, air data computer, video management systems, computing systems, mission displays and video recorder products.

As the design center of excellence for flight recorders and air data computers, the units had to be lightweight and small – crash survivability requirements exceeding the existing standards for commercial aircraft.
