Team Member discount on HOMAGE products What will you do as a General Manager at HOMAGE?
The General Manager operates a service and sales minded store environment through the successful development of a team that can consistently deliver results. Responsible for all aspects of managing a single store including; managing store associates and oversee store operations to achieve sales, service, and customer satisfaction. Store Managers are responsible for the overall effectiveness of their own team, managing between 12-20 teammates. You'll wear many hats - serving as an entrepreneur, recruiter, educator, motivator and leader.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Passionate about our customers and our stories, knows and understands their store in detail and understands the competitive markets within the retail industry.
Responsible for business knowledge including how sales, profitability, inventory, markdowns, affect the store and larger organization.
Create a fun, engaging, and sales driven store experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training entire staff including assistant managers.
Utilize KPIs to achieve sales success.
Responsible for store hours to be under budget each week and month.
Directs store team to ensure all customers feel welcome in the store and drive the HOMAGE All-Star experience.
Participates in meetings, providing weekly updates about their store, and elevating issues as needed to management and/or corporate.
Provides global feedback and offers possible solutions to corporate / store business partners.
Keeps the store team abreast of corporate direction through one on ones and management meetings.
Participates in the customer experience as needed by facilitating seamless service
Acts in the best interest of the customer.
Can self assess and course correct.
Demonstrates extraordinary service by leading by example on the sales floor
Receptive to feedback and able to modify as necessary.
Engages the store team using respectful and professional recognition to ensure an inclusive and efficient work environment Seeks creative solutions to challenges and can troubleshoot effectively.
Adapts management style as necessary and prioritizes effectively.
Takes smart risks.
Resolves personnel concerns fairly and in a timely fashion.
Champions new initiatives.
Interfaces with all levels of management and associates in a manner that promotes learning and mutual respect.
Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
What are we looking for in a General Manager at HOMAGE?
1-2 Years Store Manager Experience
Bachelor's Degree a plus, but not required
Availability to work weekends and holidays HOMAGE brand knowledge
Well developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills
Pace Setting Customer Service
Positive attitude, confident, and open to the ideas of others Visual Merchandising
