About the Job
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven person to join as Production Shift Supervisor at our Manufacturing Plant in Izmir.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving information from the Team Leader of the previous shift
Informing the Team Leader of the next shift
Forwarding the information received to the Shift Manager
Following up on series changes in the lines
Coordinating line openings and closings
Informing the Shift Manager in case of improper production
Ensuring that the line reaches production targets
Collaborating and assisting with the line technician to solve technical problems in production
Controlling raw material, semi-finished and finished product stocks.
To control productivity, traceability, lot paper, MPI and TPM's
To control records belonging to production lines:
To provide training to production operators
To control and correct the compliance of work safety rules
To control the order and cleanliness of work stations, clothing and equipment
To inform the Shift Manager about work stations, rotations of employees, trainings, holidays, overtimes, schedules of missing operators and related information while controlling production, To Conduct analysis for improvements While controlling improvements in production
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Mechatronics Engineering studies)
Experience in automotive sector and automotive quality standards (ISO 16949)
Strong communication skills in both languages (Turkish and English)
Quality control (MPI, SPC)
Maintenance systems (TPM)
Experience in team management
Problem solving skills
