Sofina Foods is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our scampi production team at Young’s Seafood. As a Production Operative, you’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing operations — helping us deliver high-quality scampi to households across the UK.

Shift Details: Dayshift (5:30 am - 1:45 pm, with an early finish on Fridays)

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Production Operative, you will:

Operate and monitor machinery to maintain consistent and efficient scampi production

Follow standardised recipes and schedules to achieve daily output goals

Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to uphold food safety standards

Keep the work area clean, safe, and well-organised in collaboration with your team

Assist with basic troubleshooting of machinery to minimise production downtime

Follow all health and safety protocols and food hygiene guidelines

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for individuals with energy, attention to detail, and a drive for quality.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Able to follow verbal and written instructions accurately

A strong team player with clear communication skills

Flexible and responsive to production demands

Ideally experienced in food manufacturing (not essential – full training provided)

Basic mechanical understanding is a plus for machinery operation and troubleshooting
