Position: Lead Quality Control-Production
Department: QHSE & Sustainability
Location: Hassanabdal- KSB Pakistan
Shift: Day
Purpose of the Position:
We are looking for experienced and detail-oriented Lead-Quality Control Production to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in quality control, inspections, and process improvement within the manufacturing/engineering sector, ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
To manage inspection of all incoming materials and outgoing products to meet the quality standards of the company.
To monitor the quality control activities in product machining and assembly and to suggest remedial measures.
To be well versed on engineering drawings. Check parts as per drawings and applicable standards.
To give technical assistance in case of Incoming / In process & dispatch inspection problems.
To work with a foundry team for in-process improvement, rectification of casting defects and basting abnormalities observed during machining and final assembly.
To perform and monitor product audit as per the specified interval. Prepare the audit report and coordinate with all the department concerned for the solution of non-conformance observed during the audit.
To monitor the daily in process audit and communicate to the concern the observations for solution.
To extract data from SAP for notifications and CONC. Analyze and identify key focus areas for improvement. Communicate and follow up with the department concerned for effective CA.
Monitor and analyze the SAP X1, X2 and X3 notifications and communicate with the relative departments for its correct and timely closure.
To analyze the customer complaint and coordinate with the relevant department for the resolution of the problem.
To perform annual quality audit of different sections for QC system implementation and effectiveness.
To carry out any Quality related job in any other area of the department as and when required and asked by the in-charge.
To ensure all the certificates required have been met and the product is qualifying in all aspects as per relevant QCP.
To proactively assess and report any areas of improvement / potential risks within their concerned area
To report the health, safety and environmental issues at their respective areas to HSE inspector.
Experience & Skill Requirements:
Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Minimum 8 years in quality control, preferably in manufacturing/engineering industries
Skills:
Proficiency in SAP software and data analysis
Strong report writing and documentation skills
Fluency in interpreting engineering drawings
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
