About Us:

Velocity Sim Racing Lounge Houston’s premier motorsports themed cocktail lounge and simulation racing experience. We combine thrilling, competitive simulation racing with a dynamic atmosphere featuring a full bar, kitchen, live events, and watch parties. We are seeking experienced bartenders to help make the bar program a standout amongst Houston’s bar scene.

Position Overview:

As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience. You will be responsible for providing top-notch service, taking orders, and assisting in creating a welcoming atmosphere in our facility. Your enthusiasm for racing and customer service will contribute to a vibrant community of sim racing fans.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Engagement: Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive at the facility.

Order Processing: Take and process food and beverage orders efficiently and accurately.

Knowledge: Provide recommendations on menu items and sim racing experiences.

Venue Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas.

Order Delivery: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

Customer Service: Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.

Event Promotion: Promote and educate guests about upcoming events and offerings.

Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a server or customer service role preferred.

Passion for racing and familiarity with sim racing concepts is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong team player with a positive attitude.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
