Job related information Start date: immediately or by agreement Contract duration: indefinite (CDI) Activity rate: 100% Workplace: Lausanne Sorge - Bugnon - Epalinges Your activities In your activities, you will be required to: Provide support for the FBM and the UNIL community for large-scale image analysis needs Maintain contact and collaborate with the Division of Computing and Research Support (DCSR), similarly-functioning staff from other faculties and the Research Support Network (RSR), to ensure consistency of decisions with available services, as well as the pooling of skills and resources where appropriate Participate in teaching HPC practices related to image analysis at UNIL and in raising awareness among research groups in this field Your profile To complete our team, we are looking for someone with the following profile: A Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
A doctorate in bioinformatics or computer science would be a plus.
Professional experience related to the development of image analysis and machine learning tools Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written) Ability to carry out work in a completely autonomous manner.
Ability to interact with multiple research themes and to take into account the needs of research groups.
Ability to collaborate and respect teamwork.
Experience in scientific programming for large-scale datasets and “Machine Learning” as well as in different computer languages allowing quantitative analysis of images (Matlab, C, C++, python).
