Data Scientist

This is a remote role for a Data Scientist who will help us build and refine our data-driven insights and machine learning features. You'll work in a fast-moving environment and contribute directly to the evolution of a meaningful, user-facing product that impacts millions of job seekers.

The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing predictive models, analyzing user behavior patterns, optimizing recommendation algorithms, and extracting actionable insights from large datasets. This role involves working closely with our product and engineering teams to translate complex data patterns into features that enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities:

- Build and deploy machine learning models for job matching and recommendations

- Analyze user engagement data to identify optimization opportunities

- Develop A/B testing frameworks and interpret experiment results

- Create data pipelines and ensure data quality across systems

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field

- 3+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles

- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages

- Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes

- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

- Strong statistical analysis and data visualization skills

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
