We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate payment of invoices and serving as a key liaison between the Accounts Payable department and other SWACO staff.

What You'll Do * Manage the weekly accounts payable process, from receiving and auditing invoices to generating and transmitting vendor checks.
* Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, researching and resolving any issues that arise.
* Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure all invoices are properly approved and coded for payment.
* Administer and maintain accurate records for prevailing wage projects, including handling certified payrolls and updating wage rates.
* Prepare for yearly audits by maintaining vendor W9s and running 1099s.
* Maintain multiple Excel spreadsheets for various projects, utilities, and fuel expenses.
What You'll Bring * A high school diploma or GED is required.
* Three to five years of experience in an accounts payable or similar financial role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
* Familiarity with standard accounting software is preferred.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
* A valid Ohio Driver's License.
