Job Title: Electrical Designer (AutoCAD Electrical)

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Location: Conroe, TX

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (minimal overtime)

Overview:

A well-established control panel design and fabrication company is seeking a skilled Electrical Designer with hands-on AutoCAD Electrical experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design and documentation of control panels, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with customer and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.

Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication staff to ensure designs are accurate and manufacturable.

Design/redesign OEM panels and custom panels per project requirements.

Generate clear and accurate documentation for assembly and commissioning.

Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.

Assist in continuous improvement of design processes and panel documentation.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably with control panels.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (required).

Strong understanding of electrical controls, schematics, and panel layouts.

Knowledge of industry standards and electrical codes.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
